Train Transfers To and From McGhee Tyson Airport

Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport is currently not served by public transportation - only by car rental and taxi companies, limos & shuttle services, and rideshares.

Therefore, tourists are advised to use other forms of transportation when in Knoxville.

Only two Amtrak stations in Tennessee, Newbern-Dyersburg, and Memphis, provide infrequent service.

Both stations are in the far western part of the state, with service to cities including New Orleans and Chicago.

Memphis is the only large city with a train station, so to reach Nashville, Knoxville, or Chattanooga, you'll need to rent a car or take a bus.
